Flour - Tapioca 600g

Made from organically and sustainably grown tapioca, this flour is milled with meticulous care using traditional methods, and without treatments such as chemical bleaching.

Tapioca flour is a slightly sweet, fine, starchy flour that works as a great thickening agent for soups, sauces, gravies, pie fillings or dressings, even when those foods are cooked then chilled or frozen and later reheated..

Adding it to your baked treats will create a light, airy, crispy and chewy texture. Perfect for adding to bread, cookies, brownies and pie crusts, tapioca flour is a great way to ensure that your ingredients bind together without using gluten. Best blended with other flours such as almond flour – try tapioca flour in a gluten-free flour mix such as this:

2 C    brown or white rice flour

1 C    buckwheat flour

1 C    fine yellow cornmeal
½ C   tapioca flour

¼ C   potato starch flour or soy flour (optional)

1 T    guar gum
